Some days, it feels like you're spinning in circles.

You tried the breathing techniques.
You read the book, followed the strategy, stayed calm.
You gave every ounce of patience you had.

And still, it ended in tears.
Or tantrums.
Or quiet guilt once
Before my child ever screams, slams a door, or melts down in public, there are signs.

I used to miss them, because I thought dysregulation always looked loud and obvious. But it doesn’t.
